Hello! My name is Jennifer Gill and I am an ELAR and S.S. teacher.
I grew up as a military brat but I call Tennessee my home. I went to college here in Dallas at DBU. I am married to Scott Gill who is a Captain for the Colleyville Fire Department. I have an absolutely wonderful little boy named Jacob, and who is the light of my life. He will be going onto 3rd grade this year. I enjoy spending quality time with my family which is very important to me. We travel home to Tennessee as much as we can to see family and friends. I have 2 dogs. Nala is a Boston Terrier and she is almost 12 years old and she is a mama's girl! We also added Gracie last summer. We are not sure what she is but we think a mix between a Boxer and German Shepherd. She is a great puppy, but very much a puppy. She loves to chew!
Before I started teaching I was a substitute then I worked for Communities in Schools for 3 years. I believe those years helped me in becoming the teacher I am today. I also come from a family of educators. I have been teaching for a total of 13 years. I taught 1st grade for four years. This is my ninth year as a 3rd grade teacher. My first year of teaching was at a local private school and the rest has been in another local district and here at NISD. I am excited about another year in 3rd grade.
I am very excited to be teaching at Seven Hills Elementary. I look forward to meeting each family and working together to help your child succeed.
